Dr Formosa is a general practitioner with a strong background in hospital and community care. She completed a Bachelor of Medical Science (Distinction) at the University of New South Wales, followed by a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney, and worked across hospital settings including a dedicated year in paediatrics before moving into general practice. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2023.
She has a strong interest in women’s health, sexual and reproductive health, children’s health and skin cancer medicine, as well as preventative care and long-term health management. Dr Formosa offers services including medical termination of pregnancy, skin checks, and dermoscopy, alongside general family medicine.
Dr Formosa supports patients across all stages of life, from children and young people to adults. She takes a thoughtful, patient‑centred approach and is also involved in training future GPs as a medical educator, bringing a strong focus on high-quality, evidence-based care.
