About our centre
Our Mackay Medical Hub provides a wide range of general practice and healthcare services designed to support patients at every stage of life, delivered by a team that understands the needs of the local Mackay community.
With onsite services including pathology, interpreter support, paediatric care and a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, we make it easier to access the care you need in one convenient location. Our experienced GPs offer care across areas such as preventative health, chronic disease management, urgent care and family medicine, helping you stay well with practical, personalised support close to home.
We support a broad range of patients — including children, families, working professionals and older adults — with both routine health needs and more complex or ongoing conditions.
Conveniently located in the Mackay community, with access to onsite pathology, interpreter services and a range of integrated healthcare services, our centre supports patients across Mackay and surrounding suburbs. Policies
Mackay Medical Hub is a mixed billing centre. This means some patients and services are bulk billed, while others will have out-of-pocket costs.
We bulk bill for:
- Pensioner Concession Card holders
- Veteran Gold Card holders.
Some other things to know:
- Bulk billing is not available on Saturdays.
- Overseas students and visitors will need to pay the full fee on the day, before making a claim with their health insurer.
There are no cancellation fees.
