Dr Hanna is an experienced general practitioner with a long-standing background in both hospital and general practice care. He completed his medical degree at the University of Khartoum in 1987 and has since worked across Sudan and Australia, including roles in major Sydney hospitals. He has been caring for the Blacktown community since 2009, with extensive experience supporting a wide range of patient needs in a community clinic setting.
He has a strong interest in cardiac and respiratory health, as well as children’s health, men’s health, women’s health and musculoskeletal care. Dr Hanna also supports patients with chronic disease management and preventative care, helping manage both everyday concerns and more complex, ongoing conditions.
Dr Hanna works with patients at every stage of life, from children and families to adults and older patients. He takes a caring, patient‑centred approach, focusing on listening, clear communication and practical advice to help patients feel confident managing their health. He speaks English, Arabic and Sudanese, supporting a diverse patient community.
