Dr Fernando is an experienced general practitioner who provides care across general practice and family medicine. She completed her medical degree in Sri Lanka in 2013 and has worked across multiple hospital specialties at Goulburn Valley Health and Western Health before moving into community general practice.

She has a strong interest in women’s health, mental health, chronic disease management, preventative care and children’s health. Dr Fernando supports patients across all life stages, including children, families, adults and older patients, helping manage both everyday concerns and ongoing health conditions.

Dr Fernando takes a warm, patient‑centred approach, focusing on building trusted relationships and providing holistic care. She works closely with patients to understand their needs and support their long-term health and wellbeing. She speaks English and Sinhalese.
