About our centre
Our Burwood medical centre has been providing care for our local communities for more than 20 years. The practice's modern design helps our team support patients with a wide range of health needs, including both routine and unexpected care.
We offer 16 consulting rooms and a large, well‑equipped treatment and emergency room for general care, immunisations, chronic condition management and minor procedures. We also offer a growing range of allied health services, all within a modern clinic. An onsite pharmacy is also available, making it easier to manage your care in one place.

Our centre provides a wide range of general practice and healthcare services to support patients at every stage of life. We support individuals, families and aging patients with both routine and more complex health needs. Services include general practice, preventative care and ongoing management of chronic health conditions, with support across key areas such as skin checks, women’s health and mental health. We care for children, adults and older patients, providing support for both everyday health needs and more complex conditions.

Policies
This Medical Centre is a mixed billing centre. If you hold a valid Medicare Card, you may be entitled to a rebate processed instantly through Medicare Easyclaim.
Standard Consultations
Bulk billing applies for consultations from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for:
- Children aged 15 years and under
- Government Concession and Pension Card holders
- Childhood immunisations
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs cardholders
All other consultations and procedures are privately billed. Payment is required at the time of service.
Procedures and Non-Standard Consultations
- All procedures are privately billed
- Additional fees apply for consumables
- Consultations associated with procedures will also be billed privately
WorkCover and TAC
- WorkCover and TAC consultations are privately billed and must be paid for at the time of your visit.
Prescriptions
- Prescriptions are issued following a consultation with your GP.
Travel Consultations
- Travel vaccination consultations incur an out‑of‑pocket fee, plus the cost of vaccines.
We understand that plans change, and so do your health needs. But cancellations and no-shows inconvenience other patients by taking up appointment times.
That's why we charge a fee of $40 if you provide less than 6 hours’ notice. We’ll ask you to pay this fee during your next visit.
