Dr Ong is an experienced general practitioner who provides care across general practice and family medicine in both hospital and community clinic settings. He completed his medical degree at the University of Manchester and gained broad clinical experience in Northwest England before completing his general practice training in 2019. Since relocating to Australia from Melbourne, he continues to support patients with a wide range of health needs.
He has a strong interest in chronic disease management, preventative health and general medicine, as well as mental health, sexual health and dermatology. Dr Ong also provides comprehensive skin checks with additional training in dermoscopy, and supports patients with travel health as an authorised Yellow Fever Vaccinator. He has experience in men’s and women’s health, including contraception and menopause care.
Dr Ong works with adult patients across all life stages, from young adults to older patients. He takes a calm, patient‑centred approach, focusing on clear communication and building trusted, long-term relationships. He works closely with patients to provide practical, personalised care that supports long-term health and wellbeing.
