Dr Cheng is a specialist geriatrician and general physician with extensive clinical experience across hospital, community and aged care settings. His background includes advanced training in multiple medical areas, including cardiology, respiratory, renal, endocrine, neurology, haematology and oncology, supporting a comprehensive approach to patient care.

He has a strong interest in aged care, including dementia, mental health related to ageing, polypharmacy and chronic disease management. Dr Cheng also focuses on conditions such as osteoporosis, diabetes and rheumatology in older patients, as well as supporting care within residential aged care and community settings.

Dr Cheng primarily supports older adults and patients with complex or ongoing health needs. He takes a holistic, patient‑centred approach, working closely with patients, families and care teams to support quality of life and long-term wellbeing.
