North Essendon Medical Centre is here to support the health and wellbeing of our local community, with care for people of all ages and stages of life. Conveniently located between Essendon and Moonee Ponds, close to Puckle Street, DFO Essendon and local transport links, our clinic offers accessible, close-to-home healthcare for the local community.

We support a diverse range of patients including children, young families, working professionals and older adults with both routine and more complex health needs. Whether you're visiting for a health check, managing an ongoing condition or seeking support for a specific concern, our team is here to help.
To make healthcare more convenient, we offer onsite pathology, a nearby pharmacy and a choice of male and female doctors. Our multilingual team speaks English, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Sinhala, Arabic, Spanish, Kannada and Telugu, helping more patients feel comfortable and understood.

Services include support for diabetes and chronic disease management, health programs, immunisations and mental health. Our team also provides podiatry, women’s health and weight management.
Pathology opening hours
We partner with Australian Clinical Labs, which operates Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm. Bookings are not required.

Policies
North Essendon Medical Centre is a private billing practice.
Full payment is required on the day of consultation and accounts for future payment will not be issued.
Please note - in certain circumstances, bulk billing may be available to Pensioners and Health Care Card holders. This is not automatic and is up to the discretion of each doctor. We will continue to bulk bill children for Immunisations in accordance with the Immunisation Schedule.
There are consultations that cannot be bulk billed and these include:
- Workers Compensation
- Pre- employment Medical Examinations
- Insurance Medicals
- Providing services to people not covered by Medicare/Veterans Affairs
A non-attendance fee of $50.00 may apply if 24hrs notice of cancellation is not given prior to appointment.
