With 5 membership tiers, Life Rewards rewards and recognises members based on the length of time they have continuously been an eligible Bupa health insurance policy holder. It's our way of saying thanks for doing life with Bupa.
Bupa health insurance members on an active eligible Bupa health insurance policy aged 16 years or over are eligible for the Life Rewards program and members can access Life Rewards from the first day of their active policy.

The Tiered Rewards component of the Life Rewards program can be accessed by all members of an eligible policy who are over the age of 16.
A member's tenure is calculated as the continuous number of uninterrupted years that have passed since the primary member’s enrolment date. Interruptions that impact a customer’s tenure calculation include the ceasing of, and any suspensions for longer than 24 months of eligible Bupa Health Insurance memberships.
If members are listed on multiple eligible policies, their tenure will be calculated as the continuous number of years that have passed on the longest standing policy, since the primary member’s enrolment date. You can find your ‘member since’ year on your membership card.

~ Current Bupa Health members with an active membership are able to obtain a 15% discount on Bupa Travel Insurance. This discount applies to new policy purchases and is based on standard premium rates (including optional extras). Discounts only apply to the insurance portion of the premium and are applied before government charges, taxes, levies and fees. The full extent of discounts may, therefore, be impacted.
