The Bupa Foundation has been the proud Principal Partner to Kids Helpline since 2019, supporting the evolution and growth of the Kids Helpline @ School early-intervention program.
The Kids Helpline @ School program brings Kids Helpline counsellors into classrooms to deliver free virtual workshops teaching young people skills and strategies for emotional regulation, online wellbeing, resilience, conflict resolution, and respectful relationships, and normalise help-seeking behaviour.
The program is also integrated with Kids Helpline to ensure that students have easy access to counselling and support should they require it.
More than 150,000 primary and secondary school students engage in the program each year, and this continues to grow.
We’ve also invested in the development and scale of Kids Helpline’s My Circle platform – the only social media that’s good for young people’s mental health. My Circle gives thousands of young people aged 12-25 across the country access to 24/7 peer support, under the guidance of qualified Kids Helpline counsellors.
Together, we have supported hundreds of thousands of children and young people to gain the mental health support they need sooner.
