Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are three times more likely to have poor vision compared with other Australians.
To contribute to programs improving access to optometry services for First Nations school-aged children, we’ve partnered with the Brien Holden Foundation.
Targeting myopia, a common vision problem that is often picked up in kids and can be corrected by glasses, our partnership is delivering two pairs of myopia management glasses to First Nations kids who are diagnosed with myopia.
This gives them continuity of treatment which offers them the best chance of correcting their vision.
You can help us fund more programs like this by donating to the Bupa Foundation.
