Community Grants Program

The Bupa Foundation Community Grants Program supports local organisations and charities creating healthier people, healthier communities and a healthier planet.

Through grants of $10,000, $25,000 and $50,000, we invest in initiatives that improve health and wellbeing in the communities across Australia and New Zealand.

We are proud to back organisations with the ideas, capability and commitment to create positive, lasting change for the people and places they serve.

Please create an account on the Australian Communities Foundation Grants Portal by clicking the link above. If you already have an account, please use your existing username and password. Once logged in, click Apply and navigate to the Bupa Foundation Community Grants round to start your application.

Applications for this grant round are limited to the first 550 submissions. The application portal will automatically close once this limit is reached or by 5pm 16 October, whichever comes first. We highly encourage early submission to ensure your application is considered.

Previous Australian-based recipients include Assistance Dogs Australia for the training and placing of 20 Assistance Dogs for veterans and first responders, Invertebrates Australia who run a project encouraging people to appreciate the important role insects play in urban areas, and Adelaide Botanic Gardens Foundation who delivered a therapeutic horticulture program.

In New Zealand, past recipients include Youth Climate Collective’s Community Climate Action Project, Big Brother and Big Sisters of Rotorua, and The Staying Active program run by Dementia Wellington.
