Psychology
Whether you’re feeling stuck, stretched or simply need someone to talk to, our psychology team is here for you with in-person and online appointments available.
Do I need to see a registered or a clinical psychologist?
All our psychologists are qualified professionals. We recommend a registered psychologist for help with everyday challenges such as stress, relationships and resilience building. If you're experiencing more specific or complex issues a clinical psychologist might be the preferred option for you.
Either way, our dedicated and professional team is here to help you, your way.

Mary is an experienced psychologist who works with a diverse range of patients, offering a caring, down-to-earth, and neuro-affirming approach.
She aims to create a space where clients feel safe, heard, and genuinely understood - a place where they can explore challenges, celebrate strengths, and work towards meaningful change at their own pace.
Mary has worked in private practice, schools, and community settings, supporting people with a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, low mood, stress and burnout, emotional regulation, life transitions, behaviour concerns, trauma, and grief. She also has a strong interest in working with neurodivergent clients - including those who identify as Autistic or ADHDer - and takes a respectful, affirming stance that recognises different ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world.
Her practice draws on a range of evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as person-centred and trauma-informed approaches. Mary works flexibly, adapting therapy to suit each individual’s needs, preferences, and communication style.
People often describe Mary as warm, genuine, and easy to talk to. She values honesty, curiosity, and collaboration, and believes therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. Whether someone is looking for practical coping strategies, deeper self-understanding, or simply a space to reflect, Mary meets them where they’re at.
Bupa customers can access real, compassionate mental health support now with 20% off all psychologist appointment fees until 31 March 2026. This offer is available to both new and existing patients across the Mindplace Australian network. *T&Cs apply
