Do I need to see a registered or a clinical psychologist?
All our psychologists are qualified professionals. We recommend a registered psychologist for help with everyday challenges such as stress, relationships and resilience building. If you're experiencing more specific or complex issues a clinical psychologist might be the preferred option for you.

Divya Bannerjee is a warm and experienced registered psychologist with a Master of Clinical Psychology.
She provides personalised therapy grounded in a recovery-oriented, patient-centred approach that values collaboration, respect, and empowerment.
Divya primarily works with adults and has a strong background in hospital-based care, using a trauma-informed lens shaped by her work with first responders, veterans, and police officers. She has also worked in corporate settings, as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider for employees of large organisations, aged care and substance use services, supporting some of the most vulnerable populations. This broad experience enables her to provide psychological care to individuals facing grief, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, stress, and life transitions.
As a trained mindfulness and meditation teacher and practitioner, Divya integrates mindful practices into therapy to enhance patients' self-awareness and emotional resilience. She draws on a range of evidence-based therapies - including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Charu Goel is a senior registered psychologist with extensive experience supporting adults from diverse cultural backgrounds.
She holds a postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology and has worked in private practice, hospital settings and across the not-for-profit sector for over a decade. Charu is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, patient-centred and mindfulness-based approaches.
Her flexible and tailored style allows her to offer short, medium or long-term therapy depending on each patient’s needs and goals. She has extensive experience working with people affected by depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues, attachment disruptions, post-traumatic stress and complex trauma.
Charu’s therapeutic work is grounded in evidence based, trauma-informed principles. She supports patients to understand patterns of thought, behaviour and relationships formed early in life and how these may continue to impact emotional wellbeing. Her work is thoughtful, compassionate and deeply engaged, helping patients to move towards greater emotional resilience and self-awareness.
Charu has also held leadership and teaching roles in the field, providing individual and group supervision, specialist consultation and professional learning in trauma-informed practice. She has contributed to psychoanalytic research and lectured in psychology at international universities. With a deep understanding of psychological theory and a warm, reflective approach to therapy, Charu offers a safe space for patients to explore their experiences and discover meaningful change.

Fadime Battal is a registered psychologist with expertise in supporting children and families manage anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, and life changes.
She has a Master of Professional Psychology and skills in CBT, ACT, positive psychology, and mindfulness.
Fadime has worked in private practice and organisational settings, and she provides both short-term and ongoing support for people with varying needs. She has worked with people from diverse cultural, religious, and social backgrounds and is committed to providing culturally responsive, strengths-focused care.
Fadime takes a warm, collaborative approach, tailoring treatment to each person’s needs. She values creating a safe space where clients feel heard and supported, aiming to help people build confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of wellbeing.
