Psychology
Whether you’re feeling stuck, stretched or simply need someone to talk to, our psychology team is here for you with in-person and online appointments available.
Do I need to see a registered or a clinical psychologist?
All our psychologists are qualified professionals. We recommend a registered psychologist for help with everyday challenges such as stress, relationships and resilience building. If you're experiencing more specific or complex issues a clinical psychologist might be the preferred option for you.
Either way, our dedicated and professional team is here to help you, your way.

Lainie is an experienced clinical psychologist, having supported hundreds of patients across her 15 years in private practice, non-profit organisations and public health.
Her warm, compassionate and strengths-based approach allows exploration of challenges in all facets of life, whilst partnering with every patient towards emotional well-being, mental and physical health, personal growth, and flourishing through life's challenges and joys.
Lainie prides herself on being patient-centred, which means that therapeutic style is adapted to suit each person. As a result, a wide range of treatment modalities and principles are utilised in her therapy, which will always be discussed openly so there is a shared understanding of the collaborative work being done together. She uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Attachment Theory foundations.
Lainie works with adults from all ages and demographics with the ultimate aim of empowering patients towards fulfilment in their lives. She offers both supportive counselling and a clinical mental health lens, with discussions regarding strategies, and diagnosis as relevant or necessary. Lainie has extensive experience supporting life transitions, including relationship and interpersonal difficulties, the perinatal period and parenting, separation and divorce, career change and stressors, and approaching and post-retirement. Her areas of interest include adjustment, assisting with low mood/depression, anxiety, navigating family stressors and history, and she often works with professionals to promote work-life balance.
