Do the items that I insure have to be new?
No, you can insure any item with Bupa Valuables Insurance, no matter how old it is; except if you are insuring a mobile phone, laptop, tablet, television or camera.
If you are insuring one of these items, then you must have purchased the item in the last 90 days unless the item is currently insured on another policy and you are transferring the item to us. You will be required to provide a copy of your purchase receipt or invoice when you take out the policy. If you are transferring the item from another insurance policy you will need to provide a copy of your current certificate of insurance.
