How many times can I request an emergency call-out?
With Bupa Home Emergency Assist, you can request emergency call-outs up to two (2) times during your 12-month Membership Period.
How is the cost of attendance and services paid for?
With Bupa Home Emergency Assist, AGA will pay up to 1 hour of labour up to the value of $300 (inc. GST) per Emergency Event provided by a tradesperson.
This is not a reimbursement - AGA will pay this amount directly towards the cost of the service. If the cost exceeds an hour or $300, you'll be responsible for paying the difference. Remember, the one hour or $300 limit applies separately to each of the two eligible events, and any unused portion doesn't carry over to future events or Membership Periods.

No waiting period. Your Bupa Home Emergency Assist starts immediately on the same day as your Bupa Home Insurance policy starts. You're protected from day one.
Is Bupa Home Emergency Assist the same as Bupa Home Insurance?
While it's a great complement to your home insurance, Bupa Home Emergency Assist isn't a replacement for it. It's a separate service provided by Allianz Global Assistance designed to provide emergency assistance for 7 common home emergencies, not to cover major disasters or long-term repairs.
Can I call a tradesperson directly and charge it to my Bupa Home Emergency Assist service?
No, only qualified AGA Emergency Home Assist Trade personnel can be used. This ensures the service is properly coordinated and falls within the terms of your membership.
