Your Choice Extras 60 gives you the freedom to choose four services to be covered for, and the flexibility to change one or more of your selections once every twelve months^. We count this from either the date you take out the cover, or the last date you made a change to your services.
With 11 extras services to choose from, you can mix and match to find the right combination for you. You also get peace of mind when accessing ambulance services in an emergency1.

Quick answers to common questions
How do I check my current selections?
Will I have waiting periods if I change selections?
If you've already served the initial 2-month waiting period, you won't have any further waiting periods when you change between most services.
If you change one of your selections to Health Management, you won’t have any further waiting periods as long as you've served the initial 6-month waiting period.
If you change one of your selections to Major Dental or Orthodontics, you'll need to serve a 12-month waiting period, regardless of other waiting periods served. This 12-month waiting period will also apply if you change from Major Dental to Orthodontics, or from Orthodontics to Major Dental.
Can I change my selections if I've already claimed?
Yes! If it's been 12 months since you last updated your selections, you can change as many services as you like, but you won’t be able to make another change for 12 months from that date. You can check your limits in the 'Cover' section of myBupa.
Can I change all my selections at the same time?
I need more than four selections. Can I add more?
Unfortunately, no. Your Choice Extras 60 offers four selections only. If you need cover for more services, please get in touch with us to talk through your cover needs and we can see if there’s a better option for you.
