Our hospital cover also includes unlimited emergency ambulance, which means we’ll cover the cost of your emergency transport and on-the-spot treatment by ambulance medical professionals.+

Services that aren't hospital related are called 'extras'. By having extras cover, you'd get some money back for everyday services (like dental, physiotherapy, chiropractic, optical and more) as long as your waiting periods have been served and up to yearly limits. All of Bupa's working visa overseas visitors covers meet the health insurance requirement set by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) under Condition 8501 of this visa. 

You must have 'adequate health insurance' for you and any family members who are travelling with you on the 482 visa. You'll need to get health insurance before you apply for the visa. Once you've applied for health insurance with us, we'll email you a health insurance visa verification letter to support your 482 visa application.

No, you won’t have to re-serve waiting periods on what you were covered for on your previous policy or any waiting periods you’ve already served if your policy was still active when you switched.

You will still have to serve waiting periods on any services that weren’t included in your previous policy or if you’ve upgraded you cover.
