How do I pay for my membership?

Take your pick of the health insurance payment options below. If you want to reduce your paperwork and not worry about payment deadlines, we suggest direct debit.


Direct debit

You can choose your preferred payment interval: fortnightly, monthly, 3-monthly, 6-monthly or yearly.

Set up a direct debit when you join Bupa. Alternatively, members can update their payment preference in myBupa or download a Direct Debit Authority Form (PDF, 159Kb)


Pay by card using Bupa’s online payment service.


Log in to your online banking. Use biller code 768622 and your customer reference number.



Pay by card over the phone. Call us on 134 135.
Our call centre is open Mon-Fri 8am-8pm AEST and Sat 9am-1pm AEST.

Australia Post

If your bill indicates that you can pay at Australia Post, you can also use their 24-hour POSTBillPay service by calling 13 18 16.

In person

If the option is mentioned on your bill, you can pay in person at your nearest Australia Post office.

If some of the paperless options above are unavailable to you, tear off the payment slip at the bottom of your bill and send it to us along with your cheque or credit card payment to Bupa Health Insurance Administration, Reply Paid 4463, Melbourne, VIC 8060.

How do I change my health fund payment details once I've joined?
