Family fun at the Adelaide City Council Tour Village

The 2018 Adelaide City Council Tour Village will be bursting with fun activity for the whole family throughout the Santos Tour Down Under cycling festival.

Located in the city’s recently redeveloped Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga, the Tour Village is the central spot for families to take in the Tour. Featuring a daily entertainment program and a new family area dedicated to kids activities, families can also relive the action of the day’s racing on the big screens, catch interviews with cycling stars, grab an autograph and pick up official event merchandise.

And don’t forget the Team Presentation evening and free family concert where international voices of cycling Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen will introduce the teams, before the stage is taken over for the evening concert to really kick off the festival’s celebrations in style.

Make sure you head to Bupa's Backyard for some real family fun:

  • Get your family together to discover 20 things to do at the Tour: grab a list with your family and venture through the Tour Village to discover all the family activities!
  • Grab a seat and chill out with your family at our Chill Zone. Grab a pack of our Team Talk cards and take it in turns to answer the questions and have fun!
  • Work together as a team to colour in the Bupa colouring wall.
  • Forget something in the rush to get out of the house? We might be able to help – ask at the Bupa Backyard if you’re in need of bandaids, wipes, spare bags or something refreshing to cool you down.
