‘Bupa Weeks Free’ Offer (The Offer)

1. ‘Bupa Weeks Free’ Offer (The Offer)

If you’re an Eligible Customer (See section 2 below) who takes out an Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy (See section 3 below) and pay by direct debit you will receive from Bupa HI Pty Ltd (ABN 81 000 057 590) (Bupa):

  1. 8 weeks free, with the value of your free weeks based on your level of cover when payment is made. How it works:
    1. Except for the circumstances described at paragraph iii below, your 4 weeks free will be applied 28 days after you join, extending the date you’re “paid to”. The remaining 4 weeks are applied once you’ve held eligible cover for 13 months, extending the date that billing cycle is “paid to”.
    2. If your weeks free period ends before your next direct debit date, we may take a smaller-than-usual payment to make up the difference.
    3. If you join through a Bupa consultant and pay yearly, your first payment will be reduced by the value of 4 weeks. The remaining 4 weeks are applied once you’ve held eligible cover for 13 months. This means your third yearly payment will be reduced by the value of 4 weeks.

2. Eligible Customer

You are an Eligible Customer if you:

  1. have not held domestic Bupa health insurance within the last 60 days of your join date;
  2. are an Australian resident over the age of 18;
  3. take out an Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy (see Section 3) between 01/10/2026 and 21/10/2026 and commence your policy by 20/11/2026;
  4. pay and maintain 28 days of your health insurance premiums by direct debit;
  5. provide a valid email address; and
  6. use promo code ‘SB9008WF’ if joining online.

3. Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy


An Eligible Health Insurance Policy is a combined Domestic Hospital and Extras product, or packaged product issued by Bupa and excludes:
  1. Any hospital product when combined with Extras Saver cover;
  2. Gold hospital product;
  3. Standalone Hospital Product;
  4. Standalone Extras Product;
  5. Ambulance only products; and
  6. Short Stay Visitors Products, Overseas Visitors Products, Overseas Student Health Products.     

4. General

  1. Yearly limits, waiting periods, benefit claiming restrictions, policy and fund rules apply.
  2. The Offer is not available with any other Bupa promotional join offer provided by Bupa.
  3. If you do not satisfy these terms and conditions before becoming entitled to the Offer then Bupa may elect, acting reasonably, not to award you with the Offer. If Bupa discovers that you did not satisfy any of these terms and conditions after the Offer has been awarded, then Bupa may decide, acting reasonably, to remove the Offer.
  4. Bupa reserves the right to end, change or extend this Offer at any time.
  5. Bupa is not liable for any loss or damage suffered because of this promotion (except that which cannot be excluded by law).
  6. The Offer is available only if you join through Bupa direct channels and is not available if you join through a price comparator.
  7. The Offer is not available to any customers attached to a corporate group including employees [or contractors] of Bupa, or any other Bupa Group company.


The ShopBack Offer

1. The ShopBack Offer

  1. Eligible Customers (see section 2 below) who take out an Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy (see section 3 below) via the ShopBack platform and pay by direct debit will receive from ShopBack ABN 97620158929 (ShopBack) up to $900 Cashback. The amount of Cashback you are entitled to is dependent on value of your first year’s premiums for the Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy you hold at the time of meeting all eligibility criteria (including any applicable Age Based Discount, Lifetime Health Cover loading or Australian government rebates). The Cashback offered under this promotion is subject to change, at the discretion of ShopBack.

2. Eligible Customer

You are an Eligible Customer if you:

  1. have not held Bupa health insurance in the last 60 days prior to the join date;
  2. are an Australian resident over the age of 18;
  3. take out an Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy (see section 3 below) via the ShopBack platform (please ensure that all cookies are enabled and accepted) between 1 October 2026 and 21 October 2026.
  4. pay and maintain 60 days of your health insurance premiums by direct debit (60 days does not include any free cover periods); with the Cashback being applied within 30 days of all eligibility criteria being met; and
  5. provide a valid email address; and
  6. use promo code ‘SB9008WF’ if joining online.
