Get up to $480 Cashback with ShopBack

1. The Offer

  1. Eligible Customers (see section 2 below) who take out an Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy (see section 3 below) via the ShopBack platform and pay by direct debit will receive from ShopBack ABN 97620158929 (ShopBack) up to $480 Cashback. The amount of Cashback you are entitled to is dependent on value of your first year’s premiums for the Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy you hold at the time of meeting all eligibility criteria (including any applicable Aged Based Discount, Lifetime Health Cover loading or Australian government rebates). The Cashback offered under this promotion is subject to change, at the discretion of ShopBack.

2. Eligible Customer

You are an Eligible Customer if you:

  1. have not held Bupa health insurance in the last 60 days prior to the join date;
  2. are an Australian resident over the age of 18;
  3. take out an Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy (see section 3 below) via the ShopBack platform (please ensure that all cookies are enabled and accepted)
  4. pay and maintain 60 days of your health insurance premiums by direct debit (60 days does not include any free cover periods); with the Cashback being applied within 30 days of all eligibility criteria being met;
  5. provide the promotion code “SHOPBACK480” on sign-up; and
  6. provide a valid email address.

3. Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy


An Eligible Health Insurance Policy is any standalone domestic Hospital or Extras product or combined domestic Hospital & Extras product or packaged product issued by Bupa and excludes:
  1. Gold Level Hospital Cover;
  2. Ambulance only products; and
  3. Short Stay Visitors Products, Overseas Visitors Products, Overseas Student Health Products.

4. General

  1. Yearly limits, waiting periods, benefit claiming restrictions, fund and policy rules apply.
  2. The Offer is not available with any other Bupa promotional join offer.
  3. If you do not satisfy these terms and conditions before becoming entitled to the Offer then Bupa and/or ShopBack may elect, acting reasonably, not to award you with the Offer. If Bupa discovers that you did not satisfy any of these terms and conditions after the Offer has been awarded, then Bupa and/or ShopBack may decide, acting reasonably, to remove the Offer.
  4. Bupa and ShopBack reserve the right to end, change or extend this Offer at any time.
  5. Bupa is not liable for any loss or damage suffered because of this promotion (except that which cannot be excluded by law).
  6. The Offer is available only if you join via the ShopBack platform and is not available if you join via a price comparator.
  7. The Offer is not available to any customers attached to a corporate group including employees [or contractors] of Bupa, or any other Bupa Group company.
