You're covered for

Overseas evacuation

The cost of transporting you back to Australia, or another place, if you become ill or injured.*

Overseas medical expenses

Your reasonable overseas medical expenses if you become injured or ill while travelling overseas and need medical treatment.*

Luggage or travel documents

Loss, theft or damage to luggage, clothing, personal effects, tickets, travellers’ cheques, travel documents or misuse of your credit cards.*

Re-scheduled, delayed or cancelled travel

Covers the reasonable costs should all or part of your travel be cancelled or cut short due to serious illness, serious injury or death of yourself or your travelling companion, relative, travelling companion's relative or business partner.*

Resuming your overseas travel

If we've returned you to Australia, the cost of a one-way ticket to the destination listed on your original itinerary where your travel was interrupted.*

Accidental death and disability

Payment of a lump sum should you die or become permanently disabled as a result of an accident caused by violent, visible and external means.*

Liability cover

Legal liability as a result of an incident that causes loss or damage to someone else's property, or death or bodily injury to other people.*

Emergency Assistance Card

Access to a 24-hour, seven days a week, reverse charge telephone response centre based in Australia.

Hire vehicle excess waiver

The insurance excess you are liable for under a hire agreement up to $3,000 under the Super Plus Plan and up to $2,000 for all other plans.*

Pre-existing medical conditions

Medical costs arising from some pre-existing medical conditions* as detailed in the Product Disclosure Statement.
