Hospital Arrangements - Members Health Benefits - Bupa

Bupa Hospital Arrangements

At Bupa we care about your health and the cost of your health care. So we are helping you get greater value, certainty and simplicity.

Bupa has agreements with most private hospitals and day surgeries to provide members with certainty about the hospital costs associated with the treatment. At most hospitals with agreements, members will have a no out of pocket experience for their hospital treatment (except for any excess or copayment that may apply to your level of cover). These hospitals will also forward your hospital charges directly to Bupa, to save you the inconvenience of making a claim.

So to get the best value from your Bupa hospital insurance, we suggest you choose a hospital with an agreement with Bupa.

You can search for a hospital with an agreement via our hospital search function or by downloading a Bupa Hospital Listing.

Bupa has different hospital arrangements in place which are described below:

Bupa has arrangements with a small number of hospitals where members receive the same benefits as a Network Hospital but members may be charged a fixed daily fee. This fee is charged per day and capped at a maximum number of days per stay. The hospital should inform you of the out of pocket expense when making a booking. The fixed daily fee charged by the hospital is in addition to any excess or copayment you may have as part of your hospital cover.
