Claiming is easy

For in-patient hospital medical claims

If you visit a Bupa Members First or Network private hospital, or any public hospital, they’ll send your in-patient hospital claim to us directly on your behalf. Likewise, if your doctor uses our Medical Gap Scheme, they’ll bill us directly. If there’s no gap for you to pay, you won’t even see a bill!

If you visit a non-Agreement private hospital, or your doctor doesn’t use our Medical Gap Scheme, you may be billed directly and will need to fill out an overseas visitor claim form and send it in to us.

For fees charged as a hospital out-patient or by a doctor or specialist in private practice, simply complete an overseas visitors claim form and send it in to us.

For Extras claims

Electronic claiming is the fastest way to get your benefit. This service is offered by thousands of dentists, physiotherapists, optical outlets and more. Just swipe your membership card to claim your benefit on-the-spot and you’ll only pay the balance of your bill.

We also offer claiming online, over the phone, by fax, email, mail and at most Bupa centres. So there’s sure to be a way that’s quick and convenient for you.
