How do I pay for my membership?

There are several easy ways to pay your premiums, including online payment. Take your pick of the health insurance payment options below and choose the one that suits you best.

Telephone

Telephone payments using your credit card can be made by calling Bupa 134 135 Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm (AEST). If your renewal notice indicates that you can pay at Australia Post you can use their 24 hour POSTBillPay service by calling 13 18 16. This is one of the most popular health insurance payment options.

By mail

Simply return your cheque or credit card payment along with the tear-off payment slip at the bottom of the renewal notice we send you, in the reply paid envelope provided.

Pay in person at Australia Post

You can pay in person at your nearest Australia Post office (if your health insurance premium payment notice indicates that this option is available for your policy type).

Pay online with POSTbillpay

You can pay online with postbillpay.com.au.

Pay online with Bupa Webpay

Visit Bupa Webpay and pay online (please use your health insurance policy number as your reference number). This is one of the most popular health insurance payment options.

Direct Debit

Bupa direct debit provides automatic debit from your bank, building society, credit union, or credit card account at your chosen payment interval (fortnightly, monthly, 3-monthly, 6-monthly or yearly). You can even set up your payment details online through myBupa, or download and fill in a Bupa direct debit authority form.

How do I change my health fund payment details once I've joined?

If you want to change your payment interval, or the account from which your health fund payment is debited just call us on 134 135. You will need to give us at least 10 days notice to make sure this change is activated.
