An initiative designed to provide support for parents with new babies to help them adjust to the changes at this exciting time.
Having a baby is an exciting time for you and your family. We understand it can also be a challenging period of change and adjustment. At Bupa, we believe you deserve extra attention during this stage of your life.
That's why we've partnered with the Parent-Infant Research Institute (PIRI) at Austin Health, a leading treatment and research centre for parent and infant wellbeing, to bring you our Parent and Baby Wellbeing program. PIRI offers an exclusive support service for those who are finding the transition to parenthood difficult. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, feeling depressed, or just need someone to talk to, we’re here to help.
Our Parent and Baby Wellbeing Program gives you access to some valuable services through PIRI, including:
Importantly, these services are fully covered by Bupa as part of your Hospital or Hospital and Extras membership with us. We want you to be able to access the advice, care, support and treatment to keep your family happy, healthy and enjoying life.
To access the program, you or your partner can contact PIRI between 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday AEST on 1300 360 913 or visit www.piri.org.au.
If you require urgent assistance please contact your GP, child and family health nurse, or an alternative crisis support service listed at www.piri.org.au.
