  • We’re sharing our wealth of knowledge through the Bupa Blue room and innovative health tools like FoodSwitch, MumMatters, and the Stroke Foundation’s enableme.
  • Our Bupa Health Foundation is funding breakthrough medical research and turning it into real health and care improvements for all Australians.

Helping your family to connect as a team

Making a difference to the health of families. From rides to fun runs, triathlons to obstacle courses, we partner with organisations to deliver events and experiences designed to connect and bring families together.

Supporting the
McGrath Foundation

We sponsor the McGrath Telephone Support Nurse, who is there to offer support to all patients when a regular nurse is on leave. This allows for continuity of care and supports the nurses’ workloads. We also help to raise breast awareness at The Blue Room.

Our vision for reconciliation

In 2015 we launched our first Reconciliation Action Plan. Our vision for reconciliation is to close the gap in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health outcomes. To do this, we are coupling our health and care expertise with a commitment to working with and learning from Indigenous peoples.

Taking action on sugar in schools

We’ve collaborated with That Sugar Film to develop a school action toolkit with curriculum experts. Teachers have a kit of resources to engage their entire school community in a conversation about better health. We also launched the FoodSwitch app which helps you to make simple, healthier switches for you and your family.

Royal Far West Speech pathology program

Some young children will struggle with speech difficulties when they’re learning to talk. Getting help for these children is particularly challenging for families that live in rural and remote areas, but Bupa Health Foundation and Royal Far West are working together to help make a difference.
