Recognition criteria

To apply for recognition please contact your professional Association.

For Feldenkrais practitioners to attain Bupa recognition, applicants must have completed a four year recognised Feldenkrais professional training program of 800 hours, which, as a minimum, must consist of:

  • Two years (400 hours) tuition in Awareness Through Movement; and
  • Two years (400 hours) tuition in Functional Integration

Any educational qualifications attained by distance only learning will not be accepted. 

Additionally, applicants must also meet the Compulsory Additional Recognition Requirements.

Any educational qualifications substantially attained by distance only learning, online learning and external mode will not be recognised.

The following Associations meet the requirements set out in the Bupa Accreditation Requirements for Professional Associations. Student membership is not acceptable.
