For Alexander Technique Teachers to attain Bupa recognition, applicants must have completed a three year approved Alexander Technique teacher course consisting of 1600 class hours and clinical practice. Applicants without an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO) qualification must have their current competencies assessed by a RTO.

Additionally, applicants must also meet the Compulsory Additional Recognition Requirements.
Any educational qualifications substantially attained by distance only learning, online learning and external mode will not be recognised
The following Associations meet the requirements set out in the Bupa Accreditation Requirements for Professional Associations. Student membership is not acceptable
